Nigel Perera is a DJ and producer based in Colombo, Sri Lanka.  His repertoire ranges from infectious house/techno beats to more off kilter compositions infused with influences from Hip-hop, Jazz, and Dub.

As A&R for Jambutek Recordings, he has played an active role in shaping the label’s direction while contributing to its growing catalogue through releases, workshops, and performances. His latest project, Non-Applicable, is a collaborative live audio-visual act, exploring hardware-based performance and immersive visual environments.

Alongside his pursuits in the field of sound, he works as a multimedia designer and is the co-founder of Fold Media, a multidisciplinary design studio, where he has contributed to various audio-visual pieces and live shows, including Magnetic Fields (IN), Sub_Sequence (LK), and Colomboscope (LK).
